Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Ministry of Education, Government of India, has invited online applications for Lateral Entry Admission to Class 9th in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2027-28. Under this admission process, admission to Class 9th will be offered based on the available vacant seats in the respective schools. The online application process has started from 01 September 2026, and interested candidates can apply online until 30 September 2026. There are no fixed total seats for this admission; instead, admission will be granted according to the vacant seats available in different Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. To apply, the candidate must be studying in Class 8th in the year 2026 and must be an Indian citizen. In addition, the candidate’s district of residence and the district in which the candidate is studying in Class 8th must be the same. An Entrance/Selection Test will be conducted for selection, and the scheduled date of the examination is 10 April 2027. The examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English. The Application Fee is ₹0/-, i.e., the application is completely free. The Age Limit and date-of-birth eligibility will be as per the rules prescribed by NVS, so candidates should carefully check the age and date-of-birth conditions mentioned in the Official Notification/Prospectus. While applying, candidates should keep the required documents ready, along with a Photograph, Candidate Signature, Parent Signature, etc. Candidates are advised to carefully read the Official Notification/Prospectus issued by NVS before applying, including complete details regarding Eligibility, District Rules, Vacant Seats, Exam Pattern, Age Limit, and Admission Process.
नवोदय विद्यालय समिति (NVS), शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya में कक्षा 9वीं में Lateral Entry Admission 2027-28 के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं। इस प्रवेश प्रक्रिया के अंतर्गत उपलब्ध रिक्त सीटों (Vacant Seats) के आधार पर कक्षा 9वीं में प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रक्रिया 01 सितंबर 2026 से शुरू हो चुकी है और इच्छुक उम्मीदवार 30 सितंबर 2026 तक ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं। इस प्रवेश में कोई निश्चित Total Seats निर्धारित नहीं हैं, बल्कि अलग-अलग जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालयों में उपलब्ध रिक्त सीटों के अनुसार प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। आवेदन करने के लिए उम्मीदवार का वर्ष 2026 में कक्षा 8वीं में अध्ययनरत होना आवश्यक है तथा उम्मीदवार भारतीय नागरिक होना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही उम्मीदवार का निवास जिला और कक्षा 8वीं में अध्ययन करने वाला जिला समान होना चाहिए। चयन के लिए Entrance/Selection Test आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसकी निर्धारित तिथि 10 अप्रैल 2027 है। परीक्षा का आयोजन Hindi और English दोनों भाषाओं में किया जाएगा। इस प्रवेश के लिए Application Fee ₹0/- यानी आवेदन निःशुल्क है। Age Limit और जन्मतिथि से संबंधित पात्रता NVS के निर्धारित नियमों के अनुसार होगी, इसलिए उम्मीदवारों को Official Notification/Prospectus में दी गई आयु एवं जन्मतिथि की शर्तों को ध्यानपूर्वक जांचना चाहिए। आवेदन करते समय उम्मीदवार को आवश्यक दस्तावेजों के साथ Photograph, Candidate Signature और Parent Signature आदि तैयार रखने होंगे। उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि आवेदन करने से पहले NVS द्वारा जारी Official Notification/Prospectus में Eligibility, District Rules, Vacant Seats, Exam Pattern, Age Limit और Admission Process की पूरी जानकारी ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़ लें।
