UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Admit Card 2026 — Download & Exam Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Preliminary Admit Card for the Geo-Scientist Examination 2026, the gateway exam for 85 Geo-Scientist posts. Every registered candidate must download this e-admit card to be allowed into the examination hall — without it, entry is not permitted, so download it early and verify each detail.

The preliminary examination is scheduled for early February 2026. To download, log in to the official UPSC website (upsc.gov.in) with your registration ID and date of birth, and save a clear printout of your admit card.

Before exam day, verify your name, roll number, photograph, exam centre, date and reporting time on the admit card. If you spot any discrepancy or the admit card does not generate, contact UPSC through the channels listed on the website without delay.

On exam day, carry the printed e-admit card along with a valid photo ID, reach the centre well before the reporting time, and follow the instructions printed on the admit card about permitted and prohibited items. The application fee for this examination was ₹200 for General/OBC candidates, with SC/ST, PwBD and women candidates exempt. Keep checking the official UPSC site for any exam-related notice, and use the remaining days for focused revision of geology fundamentals.
