The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam city details for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 — one of the largest railway recruitments ever, with a massive 32,428 vacancies across Level-1 posts such as Track Maintainer Gr-IV, Pointsman, and various Assistant and Workshop roles.

The exam city details were released on 19 November 2025, letting candidates know the city of their CBT-1 examination in advance; the admit card is released a few days before the exam. Check your exam city through the official RRB regional website using your registration number, and plan your travel accordingly.

Eligibility (for reference): candidates must have passed Class 10 (High School) from a recognised board, or hold an NCVT/SCVT certificate or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). The age limit is generally 18 to 36 years, with category-wise relaxation as per railway rules.

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT-1), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification and a medical examination. The application fee was ₹500 for General/OBC (with ₹400 refundable on appearing for CBT) and ₹250 for SC/ST/EBC/female candidates.
