NTA NEET UG 2026 — India's Biggest Medical Entrance Exam

The NEET UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the single national entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses across India. With lakhs of aspirants competing every year, it is one of the most important — and most competitive — exams in the country, and getting the application and preparation right is essential.

The online application process ran from 8 February to 8 March 2026, with the examination scheduled for 3 May 2026. Admit cards are released closer to the exam date on the official NTA portal.

Eligibility: candidates must be at least 17 years old and have passed (or be appearing in) Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. Application fee is ₹1,700 for General, ₹1,600 for OBC/EWS, and ₹1,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

NEET UG is a single pen-and-paper (or as notified) test, so the entire result depends on one exam — making consistent NCERT-based preparation across Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with regular mock tests, the key to a good rank. Apply only on the official NTA website (neet.nta.nic.in), download your admit card on time, and keep checking the portal for any update on the exam date, city intimation or guidelines.
