The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has opened a very large Home Guard recruitment for 41,524 posts across divisions of the state. For candidates who want to serve in a uniformed role with the UP Police set-up, this is one of the biggest such openings — and with tens of thousands of vacancies spread across categories (General, EWS, OBC, SC), it reaches applicants from every part of the state.
Online applications were open from 18 November to 17 December 2025, with fee payment closing on the same last date. Age eligibility is 18–30 for all categories, with the usual relaxation as per government rules, and candidates must meet the physical standards specified in the notification.
Application fee is ₹400 for General/EWS/BC/EBC and ₹300 for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
Selection is conducted through a written examination, followed by the merit list, then the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), document verification and a medical examination.
