Income Tax Canteen Attendant Recruitment 2026 The Income Tax Department, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Region, Bhopal has released a notification for the recruitment of Canteen Attendants. Through this recruitment, a total of 07 Canteen Attendant posts will be filled with eligible candidates. The application process will start from 11 August 2026, and interested candidates can apply online until 31 August 2026, up to 11:00 PM. Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board to be eligible for this recruitment. The candidate's age should be between 18 and 25 years, calculated as on 31 August 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Central Government rules. The selection process will first involve shortlisting of candidates based on their Class 10th marks, followed by a Written Examination. The written examination will have a duration of 30 minutes, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates qualifying in the written examination will then be called for a Skill Test, followed by Document Verification, Medical Fitness, and other necessary verification processes. The final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Examination and Skill Test. Selected candidates will receive a salary as per Pay Level-1, ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month. The date of the Written Examination and Skill Test will be announced separately by the department.
