Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has released the Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026 notification for various Apprentice positions in different trades. This recruitment is being conducted for apprenticeship training at various Regions, Offices, and Establishments of POWERGRID. Candidates having ITI, Diploma, and Graduate qualifications will be offered apprenticeship opportunities according to their respective trade/stream. Selected candidates will undergo 1 year of apprenticeship training. The online application process will start from 25 August 2026, and the last date to apply is 10 September 2026. Candidates must fulfill the prescribed age eligibility criteria as on the last date of application, and the minimum age is 18 years. For the Apprentice positions, candidates must have the required educational qualification such as ITI, Diploma, or Engineering Degree in the relevant trade/discipline. Candidates are required to complete their registration on the respective NAPS/NATS portal before applying. The result of the relevant examination/course must have been declared within the prescribed time limit, and candidates must not have work experience exceeding the prescribed limit. Candidates will not be selected through a written examination or interview. Selection will be made as per the prescribed apprenticeship rules and eligibility criteria. Selected candidates will receive the prescribed monthly stipend during the apprenticeship training period. There is no application fee (₹0) for this recruitment.
