Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway (NWR), Jaipur has released the recruitment notification for Act Apprentice posts/training slots under Advertisement No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA). This recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for Apprentice Training in various Divisions and Units of North Western Railway for the year 2026-27. A total of 2,008 Act Apprentice Training Slots are available under this recruitment, including 500 slots in DRM Office Ajmer, 524 in DRM Office Bikaner, 580 in DRM Office Jaipur, 134 in DRM Office Jodhpur, 101 in B.T.C. Carriage Ajmer, 69 in B.T.C. Loco Ajmer, 33 in Carriage Workshop Bikaner, and 67 in Carriage Workshop Jodhpur. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 07 October 2026, and the last date to submit the online application is 06 November 2026 up to 11:59 PM. The last date for payment of the application fee is also 06 November 2026. Candidates applying for this recruitment must be at least 15 years old and not more than 24 years old as on 06 November 2026. SC/ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years, and PwBD candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per the applicable rules. In terms of educational qualification, candidates must have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board and must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) issued by NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade. No written examination or interview will be conducted for this recruitment. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Merit List. The merit list will be prepared by taking the Simple Average of the percentage of marks obtained in Class 10th (Matriculation) and ITI. Regarding the application fee, SC/ST, PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, while the application fee for other eligible candidates is ₹100.
