The Government of Uttar Pradesh has opened the UP Scholarship 2025-26 application process for Pre-Matric (classes 9–10), Post-Matric (classes 11–12) and Dashmottar (UG/PG/Diploma and Certificate) students. The scheme provides financial assistance to eligible students from reserved and economically weaker sections to support their education.
Online applications opened from 2 July 2025, with the last dates falling between October and December 2025 depending on the category, followed by submission of the printed form and documents to the college. Scholarship amounts are credited to bank accounts in the following months.
Who can apply: students studying in the relevant classes/courses who meet the income and category criteria laid down by the UP scholarship rules. There is no application fee.
To apply, students need documents such as the last qualifying exam mark sheet, caste and income certificates, bank passbook, fee-receipt number, Aadhaar and a recent photograph. Renewal candidates should log in to the renewal section using their previous registration number.
